SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night., The weather will etill be mainly fair to fine, but some scattered showers are probable, more especially in the far north and south and along the east coast. Cool temperatures are to be expected. An anti-cyclone extends over the Tasman Sea towards New Zealand, but a slight depression is crossing the southern districts. Another one is located in the northern portion of the Tasman Sea. Winds will be variable and mainly light to moderate but with southerlies predominating. Seas will be rather rough , about Foveaux Strait; elsewhere smooth to moderate.
