SECONDARY SCHOOL RUGBY

SCHOOL VERSUS HAMILTON. Keen interest will be taken in the annual school Rugby match between the New Plymouth High School and Hamilton High School first fifteens at Pukekura Park on Saturday. New Plymouth have shown that they are plucky fighters this year by their close, hard matches against St. Patrick’s College at Hawera and Te Aute College at New Plymouth. Although Hamilton have run School very close the last two years, School have never yet been beaten by Hamilton. The School team will be eager to hold their record as Hamilton this year are a strong side. They defeated Rotorua High Schol this year and defeated Mt. Albert Grammar, and Mt. Albert Grammar defeated the Grammar School first fifteen. On the other hand the Grammar School team upset the logic of the former games by defeating Hamilton on Saturday. Whatever the outcome, the match on Saturday is sure to be first-class football.
