A professional wrestling contest between George Walker and Hany e metral ended in tho sixth .round in favour of Walker. Till then each man had secured a fall, Walker being successful in the third with a jack-kni e hold, with Demetral evened m the fittu with a Boston Crab submission fall. Matters then became fairly li vcly, each man being thrown through the ropes. Demetral hurled Walker throug i four times, causing the inspector ot police to have a word with the referee. While this consultation was going on Demetral caught hold of Walker’s head and brought him over the ropes back into tho ring with a flying marc. Walker regained his feet and threw Demetral, gaining the deciding fall with a body press. Demetral at once jumped to his feet, gesticulating wildly, and cornmenced to argue with the referee.' It was some seconds before ho could be pacified. Tho spectators hooted Demetral. . It was stated in the dressing room subsequently that Demetral 'was under the impression that the referee had awarded him a fall when ho hauled Walker back into the ring, and he consequently offered no resistance to Walker. The referee denied tapping Demetral on the back. At all events it was an unsatisfactory ending. MUIR’S DEFEAT OF WILSON. BOTH EXHAUSTED AT THE END. Wellington, Last Night. Bonnie Muir (Australia) defeated George Wilson in the Town Hall tonight, winning a decision fall in the fourth round. Both wrestlers were in a state of collapse following a series of heavy throws and dumpings in which Muir had the advantage. The match ended when Muir evaded a second flying tackle and Wilson fell heavily. . Muir, although exhausted, and out of training, secured a headlock and pressed Wilson down for the final fall.
