REDUCTION IN INTEREST
INSURANCE FIRM’S DECISION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 30. , Advice from Sydney states that the principal board of the A.M.P. Society, after giving consideration to the question of reducing the rate of interest payable on property mortgages to the society, has decided to accept from existing and future mortgagors for a period, of two years interest at the maximum rate of 5J per cent, instead of the rates now payable under the mortgages.
