JUNIOR RUGBY HONOURS

TOKO AND PUKENGAHU LEFT.

CELTIC AN.IMPORTANT FACTOR.

With only one more set of fixtures to be played in the second round of the Central junior Rugby competition Toko and, Pukengahu are the only two teams in the' hunt for the honours, but it is on the Toko v. Celtic match next Thursday that much depends. If Celtic win then Pukengahu, providing they win their lost game, will have 18 points with Toko and a play-off will be necessary. If Toko beat Celtic they will win the competition. If Toko were playing the game they did in the first round they could be fairly confident, bv.t they have not been showing their earlier form recently, and as Celtic are a much improved team they should extend the leaders. Pukengahu have revealed a wonderful improvement and if they meet Toko in the play-off there will be a battle royal, for each team relies chiefly on the forwards, while both sets of backs, besides being very solid on defence, are capable bf° well engineered attacks. In the third grade Eltham, School and Inglewood have the say, the other teams being well out of it. The championship points are; FIRST JUNIOR. i Cham.
