SECOND DAY AT GISBORNE.

(By “Hurry On.”) The racing season in the North Island will close to-day with the second day of the Gisborne Racing Club's meeting. The fancied division had a bad run on Thursday, but may do better to-day. The following should go well: — Gisborne Hurdles: Haiti, Million, St. Ames. Trial Handicap: Black Songster, Reviver. Waikana-e Handicap; Teller, Malahat, Orby’s Choice. Second Hack Flat: Primax, Lady Vane, Princess Star. Te Hapapa Steeplechase: Monetize, Simeon, Cat-i-mes. Turanganui Plate: Hunters’ Moon, Black Songster, Bothwell. Farewell Handicap: ‘ Orby’s Choice, White Fang, Lordly Knight.
