BANKS TO ADVANCE MONEY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. St. John’s, July 26. A syndicate of Canadian banks to-day announced that it would advance the £20,000 required to finance a Newfoundland programme of work to relieve unemployment.
