UNEMPLOYED BOYS

MEETING AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Forty boys were present at the weekly gathering of unemployed youths At New Plymouth yesterday, which was conducted by Adjutant Green and Messrs. 0. Johnson and W. G. Reid., Matters relative to the conduct of the kindling wood factory were discussed, and suggestions were invited' from amongst the boys. Mr. Reid suggested that' the’ boys should deliver bundles in the morning and work in the afternoon when people were mostly away from their homes. If any of the boys secured work, said Mr. Reid, he hoped they wbuld 1 let him know, alsb the nature of the work,; as any of the registered boys going-to work and doing it well was an advertisement for himself and for the other boys, ,who were all working well. He did not,.wish to lose touch with 'boys who had .registered, and hoped they would keep in touch with him. ■ •
