The Holmglen was expected to complete the discharge of southern cargo at New Plymouth late last night and. sail for Port Waikato before returning to Wellington and Dunedin, where she is to load again for New Plymouth on Thursday. The Holmglen is due at New Plymouth again, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, on July 26. (Hooker Bros.). The Opihi is scheduled to load at Dunedin about Monday for New Plymouth, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson and is due at New Plymouth about July 23. (U.S.S. Co.) The Totara left Timaru on Thursday for New Plymouth, via Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at New Plymouth on Sunday. (U.S.S. Go.) . The John is to load at Dunedin on Monday for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is expected at New Plymouth a'boht July 23 and should sail the same day for Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.) The Hauturu, after discharging Onehunga cargo at New Plymouth, sailed shortly before midday yesterday for Wanganui to complete discharge before returning to Onehunga. The Hauturu is due at New Plymouth from Onehunga next week on Wednesday. (Northern Co.). MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. KENT’S DEPARTURE TO-MORROW. The Federal vessel Kent, which is loading at New Plymouth for London, Avonniouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, is expected to finish lifting 12,269 boxes of butter 5019 crates of cheese and 7000 freight careases of meat to-day and sail for Wanganui to-morrow. She will fill up at Wanganui, Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kent is expected to clear Lyttelton on July 23 for Great Britain. ■ WESTMORELAND SAILS TUESDAY. The Westmoreland is at New Plymouth unloading 2000 tons of cargo loaded at Glasgow and Liverpool and commencing her New Zealand loading by lifting 17,600 freight carcases of meat. The Westmoreland is to sail for Opua on Tuesday nrtht to complete at Opua, Auckland, GFsborne, Napier and Wellington, which she is scheduled to clear on August 6 for London, Avonniouth, Liverpool and Glasgow.

•The Union Company’s .steamer Kiwitea is announced to load cargo for Auckland at Adelaide and Melbourne in the middle of next month. If sufficient cargo is offering the Kiwitea may also call at New Plymouth, en route to Auckland. ' HAURAKI CONTINUES DISCHARGE. The Union Company’s motor-ship Hauraki, 'which arrived at Auckland from Los Angeles, via Mangaia and Aitutaki, on Wednesday evening, was to sail yesterday for Wellington, New Plymouth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. She is. due at New Plymouth on Tuesday with 450 tons of cargo to discharge. FUTURE NEW YORK SAILINGS. The agents for the A. and A. Line have received advice that the City of Delhi is now scheduled to clear New York on August 18 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia, instead of on August 22. She will be followed by the motor-ship Australind, to leave New York on September 16 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. NARBADA LEAVES SINGAPORE. . Cabled advice has been received by. the Union Company that its . chartered steamer Narbada. cleared Singapore on Tuesday for Calcutta. She will load at Calcutta, leaving there early in August for Penang, Singapore and Samarang tb complete loading for Auckland, Wellington. Lvttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff,' and is due at Auckland early in September. CAMBRIDGE LEAVES CURACAO. The Federal Company has received cabled advice ‘that the Cambridge, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, cleared' Caracas Bay last Sunday. She is due at Auckland on August 2. SOMERSET AT AUCKLAND. With cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lytteltdn, Dunedin and Nelson, the Federal steamer Somerset reached Auckland on Thursday afternoon from Liverpool, via the Panama Canal. She is due at Wellington next Thursday to discharge the local portion of her cargo. MAUNGANUI’S TRANSHIPMENTS. The Union Company’s Maunganui from Sydney, via Auckland, arrived at Wellington at midday on Thursday. The Maunganui brought transhipments ex the Yngaren, Tudor, Connnisaire Ramel, Corfu, Koranui, Kitano Mai'u, Viminale, Ormiston, Marella, Tanda, Barrabool, Montreal Maru, Kowarra, Orsova and Time.
