’Wellington, July 4, Proceedings in connection with the waterside workers’ dispute are reported to be nearing completion. The shipping companies have made final proposalsand the union is taking a ballot on Friday on the question of whether they will accept or reject them. The union’s reply is to be given to the shipowners by July 16.
