ACTIVITIES OF W.D.F.U.
EGMONT VILLAGE BRANCH. Mrs. Olson presided over 20, members at the monthly meeting of the W.D.F.U. in the Egrnont Village Hall on Tuesday. A debate on “Long Skirts v. Short Skirts" resulted' in a win for short skirts by one vote. It was decided to hold a “pound day” next month and to begin a plant exchange tabic. The competition for the four best scones proved popular. Jt was won by Mrs. Barnes, with Mrs. Murphy second and Mrs. Gee third. The hostesses were Mrs. Morton and Mrs. Gee.
