NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
The wide publicity which has been given to the winter fixture of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association has resulted in a record general entry. This in itself provides a guarantee that the National Dairy Show is fully maintaining it's well-won reputation as an educational factor in the farming and industrial world, and n visit to its spacious exhibition halls should not be neglected. In addition to indoor attractions a comprehensive sports programme has been arranged, including the annual football match between the Te Ante Native College and the Palmerston North High School students for the famous Moascar Cup; wood chopping, hunters’ competitions, steer riding for boys, goat racing and sheep dog trials. Evening events in the new stadium comprise tug-of-war, boxing and wrestling. A special attraction is the art exhibition ot pictures from the leading Art Galleries of the Dominion. Cheap railway fares enable a visit to be made to Palmerston North at low cost.
