CYCLE CLUB’S PROGRAMME. At o. meeting of the Inglewood Cyclo Club it was decided that a series of road races commencing on June 9 should be held. The race on June 9 is to be to Waiongona. and back, and on June 16 round the Kaiiniro triangle. These are to be trial races and the following will be ridden for points for the Cycle Club’s Cup: June 23, Egmont Village and back; July 7, Kaimata and back; July 21, Lepperton and back; August 4, Meeting of the Waters and back; August 11, Kaimiro triangle; August 18, Waitara Road and back; August 25, Ne\ V Plymouth Boys’ High School ami back; September 1, Midhirst and back; September 8, twice round Kaimiro triangle; September 15, Stratford and back; September 22, Ngaere and back; September 29, Eltham and back; October 6, round. New Plymouth triangle (club championship race). Messrs. W. Lawson and L. Old were re-appointed handicappers for the road series. Mr. Dunbar has provided a room for the riders to change in, also hot showers.
Mr. L. Old has donated a cup for the runner-up for the point's cup, and
an old rider has given a medal for the rider finishing third for the points cup. It was decided to authorise the secretary, Mr. M. Lawson, and the president, Mr. L. Old, to accept donations on behalf of the club. Following is the Inglewood fifth grade football team to play High School: Hughson, Huzzill (2), Lindsay, Ladbrook, Rumball, Bocock, Franklyn, Alleman, Kennedy, G. Nicholls, Taylor, Crossan, CoJ'iiey, Susan, Buckthought, D. Lindsay. A double star A certificate programme, “Glamour” and ‘ Mystery of Marriage,” will be shown at the Inglewood talkies to-night.
