SON DIES IN HOSPITAL.

NEWS' CAUSES FATHERS DEATH.

Rotorua, May 23

The tragic death of a father upon hearing the news of the death of his son occurred at Rotorua on Saturday. Air. William Richardson, baker and confectioner, of Arawa Street, received advice at 9 p.m. that his son, Air. Alfred Janies Richardson, aged 32, had died in the hospital at Taihape. Air. Richardson, who for some time had suffered ill-health, thereupon collapsed and died.

Asa young man Air. Richardson came to New Zealand from England. For a time he lived at Devonport, Auckland, and then at Gisborne. H- came to Rotorua 22 years ago. He is survived by Mrs. Richardson, three sons and two daughters. .
