Horses are again coming into their own in the Middle West States owing to ihe low price of feed and the high price of tractor fuel. In Illinois and lowa there are 18 horses at work for every tractor, and fully half the farm tractors are idle. Farmers, veterinarians, blacksmiths and small-town bankers and business men say horses are being more used this year than for years.
