COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The John was to leave Dunedin yesterday for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, and is due at New Plymouth about Saturday. She will proceed from New Plymouth to Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.) The Holmglen is to load at Dunedin next Thursday for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Picton, and is due about June 2. She will proceed from New Plymouth to Port Waikato and Wellington. (Hooker Bros.).
The Opihi, from Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson, is due at New Plymouth on Thursday . She should sail the same day for Wellington and Dunedin. (U.S.S. Co.). The oil tanker Paua is due at New Plymouth from Wellington on Sunday. She is to pump a quantity of motor spirit from the overseas tanker Corbis, due at New Plymouth that day from San Francisco, via New Zealand ports (Shell Co.) The Ronakii is to leave Onehunga for New Plymouth and Wanganui to-day. She is due at New Plymouth on Wednesday and should sail for Wanganui the same day. (Northeim Co.) The Kini, from Greymouth and Westport, via Napier, is due at New Plymouth next week and will have 720 tons of coal to discharge. (U.S.S. Co.).
PORT MELBOURNE DUE THURSDAY,
The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Melbourne is to leave Opua to-day for New Plymouth, where she is due on Thursday morning to continue loading. The Port Melbourne will lift 7100 boxes of butter, 8600 crates of cheese and 19,000 freight carcases of meat at New Plymouth and will complete loading at Wanganui, Napier and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington for London, via Cape Horn, on June 11.
ALLOTMENT FOR THE KARAMEA.
The Shaw, Savill and Albion vessel Karamea, which is due at New Plymouth on July 1, will load 5500 boxes of butter, 1000 crates of cheese and 34,000 freight carcases of meat for the United Kingdom, according to advice received by the agents, Newton King Ltd. The Karamea cleared Tablp Bay on Wednesday, en route from Liverpool with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. After discharge she will load at Dunedin, Bluff, Timaru, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui and Wellington, which she is expected to clear on July 13 for England.
TATNUT TO LOAD FOR ENGLAND.
The Tainui, at present en route from England to Wellington and Auckland, win, after discharge, load at New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth. The vessel is due at New Plymouth on July 1 and her allotment is 5500 boxes of butter, 1000 crates of cheese and 34,000 freight carcases of meat, advise Newton King Ltd.
TYMERIC FROM NAURU ISLAND.
The Tymeric was scheduled to leave Nauru Island last Thursday for New Plymouth and Wanganui but no advice has yet been received from the vessel, which is expected at New Plymouth next Tuesday. She is to discharge 3000 tons of phosphate.
CORBIS EXPECTED NEXT SUNDAY.
The motor-tanker Corbis, after discharging bulk motor spirit at Wellington is expected to leave there to-day for Dunedin and New Plymouth. The Corbis is due at New Plymouth next Sunday and will put out 3500 tons of spirit loaded at San Francisco.
KARTIGI SAILS FOR MELBOURNE.
The Kartigi left Greymouth on Saturday for Melbourne, Edithburg and Adelaide to load for New Plymouth, Auckland, Portland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel is due at New Plymouth early in June. KANNA TO LOAD IN AUSTRALIA.
The Kanna, it is reported, is to leave Wellington’about to-morrow for Greymouth, thence to Melbourne, where she will load for New Plymouth and Auckland.
ROTORUA SAILS FOR ENGLAND.
Having completed loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua left Wellington at 7 a.m. on Saturday for London, via Pitcairn Island, the Panama Canal and Curacao. The Rotorua carries 14,000 freight carcases of meat loaded at New Plymouth early this month.
CORNWALL LEAVES DAKAR.
Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Cornwall left Dakar last Friday morning. She left Lyttelton on April 20 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn, Montevideo and Dakar, carrying dairy produce and meat loaded at New Plymouth in April.
THE PORT WELLINGTON EN ROUTE,
The C. and D. Line steamer Port Wellington, which left Lyttelton on April 15 for London, via Montevideo, is reported to have left Las Palmas last Thursday. The Port Wellington loaded dairy produce and meat at New Plymouth early last month. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER.
The Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlanders is scheduled to have Montreal on May 31 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. She is due at Auckland about Juiy 12.’
