COMPANIES’ ATTITUDE.

The practice of many dairy farmers in giving their creditors orders on dairy companies against their cream cheques is a sign of the times, and one that is not liked by the companies. The matter promises to be very fully discussed at the National Dairy Conference to be held at Palmerston North on June 21 to 23. The list of remits includes six dealing with the One company says that tnere has been a great increase of orders on cream I cheques, in some cases amounting to i nearly 50 per cent, of the total monthly pav-out of a dairy company.
