HOLLARD’S CHAMPIONSHIP CUP. FIRST STAGE OF THE MEMORIAL The Kaponga Defence Rifle Club fired the first stage of the Harrison Memorial Cup competition on Wednesday. Doug. Hollard put on the top score for the day. He also holds the championship cup for the year, beating G. Smith in the shoot-off. Firing five shots at 600 yards, they tied again, but firing an extra shot Smith made a four and Hollard a five. . Hollard therefore became the winner.
