The Holmglen is to load at Dunedin next Tuesday for New Plymouth, via. Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington and is due about May 23. She will proceed from New Plymouth to Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.). The Opihi, from Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson, is due at New Plymouth to-morrow with 610 tons of cargo to discharge and is to sail on Monday for WelIjno’ton and Dunedin. She will reload at°Dunedin on Wednesday for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson and is due at New Plymouth again about May 25. (U.S.S. Co.) The Rata is due at New Plymouth from Greymouth to-morrow with a car"o of coal and cement for discharge. She will sail on Monday for Nelson. (Cock and Co.) The Kaponga is due at New Plymouth from Westport at daylight to-day. She will have 400 tons of coal to discharge and will sail from New Plymouth for Auckland this afternoon. (U.S.S. Co.). The Ronaki arrived at New Plymouth from Onehunga early yesterday morning with 140 tons of cargo to discharge. She sailed for Wanganui in the afternoon and will return from there to Onehunga. The Ronaki is due at New Plymouth again from Onehunga on Wednesday. .(Northern Co.)
MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS.
RARANGA SAILS FOR WANGANUI. The Raranga, which finished loading 3000 boxes of butter, 6000 crates of cheese and 5000 freight carcases of meat at New Plymouth for west coast ports of the United Kingdom yesterday, sailed for Wanganui in the afternoon. She will complete loading there and at Wellington and is to sail from Wellington for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow about Tuesday. PORT DUNEDIN DUE ON TUESDAY.
The motor-ship Port Dunedin, at present discharging and loading at Napier, has been delayed and is due at New Plymouth on Tuesday to complete discharge and continue loading. The vessel is scheduled to clear Wellington ou June 6 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Dakar. ROTORUA LOADS AT AUCKLAND.
To continue loading for England, the New Zealand Shipping Co.’s liner Rotorua arrived at Auckland from New Plymouth yesterday morning. The vessel will proceed\o Napier and Wellington after loading the Auckland portion of her cargo, and is scheduled to clear Wellington on May 211 for London, via Panama. PHOSPHATE SHIP FROM NAURU. The steamer Larchbank, with a cargo of phosphate from Nauru Island, is expected to reach Auckland to-morrow. After unloading a portion of her cargo here the vessel will proceed to New Plymouth and Wanganui. She is due at New Plymouth about next Friday and will have 3000 tons to discharge. PAKEHA LOADING AT AUCKLAND. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha arrived at Auckland, from Gisborne early on Friday morning to complete loading for London. The vessel is scheduled to sail for Loudon, via Cape Horn, at daybreak to-day. The Pakeha carries dairy produce and frozen meat loaded at New Plymouth. PORT BRISBANE ARRIVES HOME. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Brisbane, which left Wellington for Southampton and London on April 2 after loading at Pjcton, New Plymouth and Wanganui, is reported to have reached Southampton on Wednesday morning. The Port Brisbane loaded 10,400 baxes of butter, 5000 crates of cheese and 20,000 freight carcases of meat at New Plymouth. MELBOURNE MARU FROM EAST. The Federal Company have received advice that the motor-ship Melbourne Maru left Moji on May 2 for HongKong, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on June 1. BENHOLM SALLS FOR WELLINGTON The A. and A. Line chartered steamer Benholm was to leave Auckland yesterday for Wellington to continue discharge of her cargo from New York and Gulf of Mexico ports. She is due at Wellington to-morrow. CARGO VESSEL FROM THE EAST. The Union Company’s Indian trader Narbada arrived at Auckland from Calcutta, via Eastern ports yesterday afternoon. The vessel, which has cargo from Calcutta, Rangoon, Penang, Singapore, Samarang and Probolingo, will proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin after unloading the Auckland portion of her cargo. She is due at Wellington on Wednesday. RANGITANE FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s motorlinet Rangitanc arrived at Auckland from London at daybreak yesterday. The
vessel has passengers and mail for New Zealand and general merchandise from Glasgow, Liverpool and London for AuckWellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Wellington on AVcducsday.
MONTEREY ENTERING SERVICE. The new Oceanic steamer Monterey, which is to conduct the Los Angeles, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne service with the Mariposa, was scheduled to leave New York on Thursday for San Francisco and Los Angeles, via Panama., to enter the trans-Pacifie run. The vessel is to leave San Francisco on June 3 and Los Angeles the following day, arriving at Auckland on June 20. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
