W.E.A. LECTURES.
“THE SEARCH FOR WORLD PEACE.”
For the third of a series of lectures on “The World Since the War,” Air. J. A. Brailsford, staff tutor of the W.E.A., takes for his subject “The Search for World Peace.” The lecture will be given at Whiteley Hall, New Plymouth, this evening, at the Presbyterian Hall, Manaia, to-morrow evening and at the Municipal Chambers, Hawera, on Friday evening, beginning in each case at 8 o’clock. Some notable cartoons of peace and war, including several by David Low, the New Zealander now prominent in England, will be shown on the screen. The public are invited to the lecture. Non-members may, if they wish, contribute to a retiring collection.
