VOLUNTARY SCHEME IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, April 21. A scheme of collection of employees’ income tax by deductions from wages and salaries by weekly or monthly instalments is embodied in a memorandum of the Board of Inland Revenue, being sent to all -local authorities and big employers, says the Times. The scheme voluntary and is designed to ease the burden of employees who experience difficulty in making the necessary provision on their own responsibility.
