Mr. D. Ie Oren Morgan will leave New Plymouth by motor this morning on a trip to Napier. Mr. W. C. Barry, district superintendent of the Live Stock Division, Department of Agriculture, Wellington,, who is on an official visit to Taranaki, is at present at the White Hart, New Plymouth.
The long and distinguished services of Sir Oliver Lodge in the field of electrical pioneering has been recognised by the presentation to him by the Institution of Electrical Engineers of the Faraday Medal, states a British Official Wireless message. Mr. Arthur Kenrick, well known in Taranaki as a former manager of the Inglewood branch of the Bank of (New Zealand, died at Te Aroha on Wednesday.' Mr. Kenrick was the son of tne late Mr. Harry Kenrick, warden at Thames in the gold-mining days. Several years ago Mr. Arthur Kenrick re ne from the service of the bank at Inglewood and went to live at Te Aroha. He was intensely interested in _ work and held the rank of major m volunteers. One of his brothers, Mr. WG. K. Kenrick, was formerly stijiendiary magistrate in the Rotorua district, an another, Mr. Lionel Kenrick, m an *n spector in the Bank of New Zealand Mr. Kenrick leaves a widow and t children, Mr. Douglas Kenrick and Mis® Keitha Kenrick.
