AUSTRALIAN TRADE BALANCE
EXPORTS IN EXCESS OF IMPORTS.
TOTAL EXCEEDS INTEREST DEBTS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. , Canberra, April 14. It is expected that for the present financial year Australia will have .a favourable trade balance of not less tfian £36,000,000, which is £8,000,000 more than the annual interest commitments of Australia abroad. Statistics show that for the eight months ended February 29 exports from, the Commonwealth exceeded the imports by £22,000,000.
