OPAKU ENDOWMENT FUND. A meeting of the North Taranaki ■Women’s Institute was held at Inglewood on Wednesday to appoint three delegates to attend the conference to be held at Stratford, to-morrow to protest against the proposed confiscation of the Opaku reserve endowment fund. The delegates appointed were Mesdames Braybrooke (Inglewood), Burgess (Norfolk Road) and Buchanan (Kaimata). On the motion of Miss Trimble, and seconded by Mrs. Braybrooke, it was unanimously decided that the delegates should strongly. £up.por_t the prokst.
