INCINERATED BODY FOUND
• PROBABLY SCRUB FIRE VICTIM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Thames, March 23. The body of an elderly man, John lebister, was found in the hills at the back of Tararu to-day. It was practically incinerated. It is thought Isbister was caught in a scrub fire when searching for kauri gum. An inquest was opened this afternoon and adjourned.
