LEGALISING LOTTERIES
BULL IN BRITISH PARLIAMENT. British Wireless. Rugby, March 22. The House of Commons by 176 votes to 123 granted leave to Sir William Davidson, a private Conservative member, to introduce a Lotteries Bill, the object of which is to authorise the raising of money by means of lotteries for charitable, scientific and artistic purposes or any public improvement or other public object under conditions to be approved by the Secretary of State.
