INGLEWOOD FAREWELL

PRESENTATION TO MR. LARSON.

There was a large gathering at -the Presbyterian Hall on Tuesday night when friends gathered to farewell Mr. B. Larson, who left yesterday morning for Napier. Mr. Larson has been a resident of Inglewood for eight years, he being clerk to the Inglewood County Council fqr seven years and a member of the Inglewood Borough Council for the past four years. Mr. - Larson has been a prominent member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, he being treasurer for many years. ■ On behalf of the members of the Presbyterian Church Mr. Larson was presented with a cheque and on behalf ,of the borough council, the Mayor (Mr. J. Gibbs” presented him with a gold-mount-ed fountain pen. Mr. Gibbs said that Mr. Larson would bo a great loss to Inglewood and his place would be hard to fill. He wished him every success. Vocal and musical items were tendered and supper was •'provided.
