DISTRICT NURSE ASSOCIATION
REPORT OF .WORK DURING MONTH. The work of . the District Nurse Association at New Plymouth has been much the same in all branches during the past month, cases of distress being still numerous, reports Acting-District Nurse H. Atkinson. Nurse Atkinson gives the following statistics: New patients on register, 12; patients discharged, 14; patients transferred to hospital,- 4; patients remaining, 9; .visits to homes, treatment and advice J 55, inquiries 100; visits to charitable aid recipients 21; 102 articles of clothing supplied to 11 families. The association acknowledges the following gifts: Clothing: Mesdames Jones, Taylor, Haughton, Akers, West, Ander? son, Eliot King, Miss Mace, McGruers Ltd., Nurses Home , and Anon; cakes, milk and jam, Mrs. Collins and Victoria League (per Mrs.. A. C. H. Collins); vegetables, Mesdames Wood, D. Saxton, Reading, Wallisch and Mr. Parker; fruit, Mrs. Rielly and Anon; meat, Mr. F. Clark and Anon; ham bones, Community Stores; bedstead, Mrs. Alley; donations, Archdeacon and Mrs. Evans, Mrs, Curtis.
