BAND CONTEST AT STRATFORD.

The Taranaki brass and pipe bands’ contest will be held at Victoria Park, ■Stratford, on April 7. A feature of the afternoon will be the spectacular quickstep competition in which eleven Taranaki bands will take part. At the evening session the competing bands will be heard in selections.
