Another instance of the Royal Family s interest in the revival of British industries was given when the Queen summoned, leaders of the jewellery trade to Buckingham Palace and discussed the use of British enamels as applied to silverware and jewelloI Her Majesty showed the jewellers specimens of attractive foreign enamel work, which they agreed that they could produce at the same Dries.
