ASYLUMS OR FUMIGATION
USE OF CONTRABAND TOBACCO. By Telezraph—Press Assn. —Copyricht. London, March 7. In the House of Commons Major W. Elliott told an inquirer that tobacco seized for contravention of the Customs Act, if smokeable, was supplied to the inmates of various asylums; if unsmokeable,_ it was sent to botanic gardens for fumigation purposes.
