SACRIFICE FOR LOVE

YOUNG PRINCE’S ROMANCE. LOSS OF ROYAL RIGHTS. London, February 28. "I am very happy,” said Prince Lennart of Sweden, who has arrived in London with his fiancee,' Karin Niehvandt, whom he intends to marry here, despite the edict of his grandfather, King Gustav, that marriage with a “commoner” will mean loss of his Royal rights. The girl’s uncle and aunt were with the party. The Prince declared that nothing would cause him to regret the loss of the Royal prerogative. “I did not like Karin at our first meeting at my father’s castle near Stockholm, when I was’ 15 and she was 13,” the Prince said. “A few weeks later, however, I felt that something had happened to me. We became greatly interested in each other, and two years later I decided to marry, family or no family. “I have brought a cine-camera, a saxophone and a lute. I love all modern music and will visit all the night clubs —il am told they are the home of the saxophones.” The wedding will take place in the middle of March, after the necessary three weeks’ residential qualification.
