STORM AND BREEZE MISHAPS

MINISTER APPROVES INQUIRY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, January 13. Approval of the holding of formal inquiries before a Stipendiary Magistrate and hs'sessors into the mishaps to the coasters 'Storm and Breeze on December 18 has been given by the Minister of Marine, Mr. J. G. Cobbe.

The inquiries will bo at Christchurch, the dates to be fixed after the assessors have been chosen. The two vessels struck the rocks on the east coast of the South Island on the same day and reached Lyttelton in a. damaged condition.
