VICTORIA COLLEGE LECTURER. aUJUNES’S ON TRIP abroad. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, January 131 News ha® been received of the death in England of Dr. F. G. Maskell, lecturer in zoology at Victoria University College, Wellington. He obtained, leave to visit Europe last year for the sake of gaining experience of laboratories abroad and inspiration from meeting leading teachers in Britain and other countries. At Freiburg, Germany, he had to enter a hospital. Septicaemia was diagnosed. The New Zealand lady he was to have married crossed to Germany, and, under her charge, he was removed to England. His mother went to England and was. with him at the time of his death. Dr.’Maskell was the son of Dr. F. G. Maskell, Auckland.
