GENERAL TARIFF POLICY
BRITISH CABINET REPORT RESERVATIONS. SUGGESTED AGRICULTURE, IRON, STEEL COMMISSION PROPOSED By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. Rec. 10.5 p.m. London, Jan. 12. The British Cabinet has completed its report which, it is believed, will be in favour of a general tariff with reservations in connection with agriculture, iron and steel, though not excluding selective duties in connection with those industries, says the Daily Express. The Government will probably introduce a Bill to establish a tariff commission before the Budget is brought down.
