managerial changes. The managers of several branches of the bank of New Zealand retired on pension at the end of last year. Changes consequent upon the retirements are as follows: - Mr. D. S. White, manager at Kaitaia, North Auckland, who retired after 39 years’ service, has been succeeded by Mr. John O’Sullivan, formerly manager at Taneatua. Mr. White was at Kaitaia for 15 years, prior to which he was manager at Waiuku for two yers. °Mr. C. J. Clery, manager at Milton, has been succeeded after 39 years’ service by Mr. L. M. Scott, formerly manager at Bluff. Prior t-o going io Milton in 1926, Mr. Clery was accountant at Westport for a number of years. Mr. Scott’s successor at Bluff is Mr. A. S. Bell formerly manager at Outram. Mr L. R. Jordan, formerly manager at Manaia,..has succeeded Mr. H. Brockett, manager at Pukekohe, who retired after 39 vears’ service, the last two years bespent at Pukekohe. Mr A. H. C. Orr, manager at Sydenham ' Christchurch, for the past nine years, has retired after 40 years’ service His successor is Mr. F. J. Pender, of Kohukohu, whose place has been taken bv Mr. T. C. Bowler, of the Kawhia branch. . In addition to the above, managerial changes two members of the Head Office staff, Wellington, retired on pension at the end of last year. They are Mr. A. t who was with, the bank iov 41 years’ and Mr. W. McNab, who has had*36 years’ service and who was formerly with the Colonial Bank for some years.
