There are 3300 consumers . of electricity to-day in Jerusalem, and the streets of the city, as well as of Bethlehem, are now all electrically lighted. There are 22 miles of overhead lines and 21 miles of underground cable in Jerusalem itself, and a steady* flow of new consumers.
