WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 23. For Australian States, South Africa and The East , (per iUlimario from Wellington) at 12.45 p.m. Late fee 1 p.m. Books and newspapers at 7.45 a.m. Air mail for Wellington and South Island towns, viz. Blenheim, Christchurch, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, arriving Invercargill 3 p.m. on 24th to connect with air mail service at Palmerston North at 7.15 a.m., will close here Wednesday, December 23, at 7.45 a.m. Also air mail for Gisborne and Hastings closing here December 23 at 12,45 p.m. Late fee 1 p.m. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 24. An air-mail for Auckland, will leave Wellington at 7.30 a.m. Leave Palmerston North at 5.45 a.m., leave Wanganui 9.30 a.m., leave New Plymouth 11.15 a.m., arriving at Auckland at 1.30 p.m. Mail closes 9.30 a.m. Articles sent by air-mail must bear in addition to ordinary postage air-mail fee of 3d per ‘oz or fraction thereof. Any postal article except parcels may be accepted for despatch by air-mail. Articles may also be registered. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 26. San Francisco, also Cook Islands and Tahiti (per Monowai from Wellington) at 12.45 p.m. Late fee 1 p.m. Money orders close Thursday, December 24, at 4 p.m. Due London, January 28, 1932. Mails 'which left Auckland per Aorangi v’a Vancouver on November 17 arrived in London on December 19.
