CLIFTON LODGE OF DRUIDS

HALF YEARLY MEETING HELD. The Clifton Lodge of Druids held the half-yearly meeting on Monday, when the following were installed into the various chairs for the ensuing half-year: Bro. R. St. George (J.P.A.); Bro. F. Bird (A.D.); Sister J. Callander (V.A.); Bro. Geo. Bird (secretary); Bro. V. Pennington (treasurer); Bro. J. Ewens (LG.); Bro. R. Butcher (0.G.); Sisters N. Smart and E. Bird (A.D.Bds.); Sister T. George and Bro. M. Sampson (V.A.Bds.). The installation ceremony was carried out by District President Bro. R. Loveda,y, Inglewood Lodge. Bro. R, St. George has been selected as District President for the ensuing 12 months.

Visitors from the various lodges in the district, numbering about 40, were present, including about 20 lady members; also Bro. Leslie, of Libht of Manakau Lodge. At the conclusion of business supper was served and a dance was held. The lodge was complimented on its ritual work. Recently the lodge competed for and won the Pellew Ritual Shield for the district.
