The gross income of American farmers for 1931 will be from 25 to 30 per cent, less than in 1930 and 40 to 50 percent. less than in 1920, states the annual report of the Department of Agriculture. Farm products in 1929 brought £2,382,200,000, in 1930 they brought £1,809,400,000 and in 1931 they may bring less than £1,400,000,000.
