POULTRY CLUB FAREWELL.

The Hawera Poultry Club-held a social last night to farewell Mr. and Mrs. L. Stokes, who have removed to Eltham. A presentation was made to. them ‘by Mr. C. H. Barker, president of the club. Tile evening was spent in games and dancing, music being provided by Mrs. P.‘ Shaw and Messrs. C. Parry and W. Kelseri. A concert programme, was contributed by Mrs. Howells, Miss Leggett, Mr. and Miss White, Mrs. B. Davis and Mr. W. Kelsen. The supper arrangements were supervised by Mcsdames Evans and G. Harding. PERSONAL ITEMS. Mr. T. A. Kinmont, who is leaving Hawera for Dunedin, was farewelled by the Hawera Law -Society yesterday. Mies M. Evans has been appointed to the Hawera, County Council’s office staff.
