LATE SHAH OF PERSIA
DISPOSITION OF ESTATE. BEQUESTS TO EIGHT WIVES. Soltan Ahmed Kadjar, the late Shah of Persia, who died in France in 1930, left property in England valued at £120,792. The will reads: “After my decease my body be washed at the Muselltnan Mosque in Paris after the fashion prescribed in my religion, Islamique Sohyite, arid immediately transported to Kerbela, in Mesopotamia, and inhumed beside my father, His Majesty Ali Schah Kadjar.” Deceased gave all real estate in Persia, one-half of his jewels and one-sixth of all securities to his mother, Queen Male-keh-Djahan; an annuity of £l2OO to his brother, Prince Mohammed Hassen Kadjar, and an additional £l3O a year for 10 years for the education of his two sons; £2OO each to his eight wives and £l2O a year to three of them, the mothers of his "children; £'4ooo to his secretary, Salet Khan Hochmates Saltanch; £lOOO to his chamberlain, Khazen Homayoun, and the remainder of the property as to one part upon trust for each of his three daughters and two parts in trust for his son.
