OKAIAWA-MANGATOKI TENNIS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Okaiawa easily defeated the Manga; toki Tennis Club in the Egmont Tennis competition match on Saturday by 21 sets to 3. The match was played on the Mangatoki courts. Although they were outplayed by superior opponents the Mangatoki players failed to do themselves justice, giving one of their worst exhibitions. Okaiawa players are named first in the details of the sets given below: — Ladies’ Singles: Miss D. Good 6 oeat Mrs. A.' E. Mahon 1; Miss E. Williams 6 beat Miss N. Ashbury 2; Mies J. Pease had the misfortune, to sprain an ankle on Saturday while, searching for a tennis ball on the bank alongside the courts. _ - < Ensilage-making is in full swing.; The farmers, profiting by the experience gained in last season’s competitions, the crops are being cut earlier and more care is being taken in building and -covering.
