TO 'RESTORE SENIORITY

N.S.W. RAILWAY STRIKERS. MR. LANG AND COMMISSIONERS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Oct. 15. The Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang, again used the authority vested in him by the recent State Transport Co-ordination Act, and issued an instruction to the Railway Commissioners that they must abandon their challenge to the jurisdiction of the president of the Industrial Court and refrain from taking further proceedings of objection. Further, the commissioners were told that before taking any steps to challenge the jurisdiction of any members of the Industrial Commission they must obtain Mr. Lang’s consent in writing. Mr. Lang recently signed a minute ordering the Commissioners to restore seniority to former strikers.
