FIGURES FOR NEW ZEALAND FAVOURABLE BALANCE GROWS. EXPORTS AND IMPORTS LOWER By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Figures for the overseas trade of New Zealand for September show that exports were valued at £1,632,944 and imports at £2,134,482. For the corresponding period of 1930 the figures were £2,074,015 aiid £3,711,313 respectively. the period of nine months ended on September 30, 1931, exports were valued at £27,269,124 and imports at £19,098,029. For the same period of 1930 the figures were £37,131,080 and £33,348,543 respectively. The values shown for exports are declared f.Q.b. values in terms of New Zealand currency while the imports are valued on the basis of values in the exporting countries, plus 10 per cent.
