That; annual event, the gymnastic display by the combined. St. John’s Boys* and Girls’ Clubs will be held in the Presbyterian Hall, Hawera, to-night and to-morrow night. The girls, instructed by Miss Caigou, have undergone a strenuous course of training during the past few weeks, and their contribution towards the display will be club swinging, musical drill and other 'numbers. The boys, under Mr. V. M. Gerrand, will contribute the more strenuous items, including tumbling , pyramid building, physical drill as a class, and individual work on the Roman rings and parallai bars. ' ' • ' ■
