POTATO MARKET MOVEMENT
CANTERBURY PRICES RISING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. A movement occurred in tho potato market thia evening. Advices from Auckland were that sales had taken place there at £4 and sellers were asking £4 Ids. Whites were sold to-day at £2 to £2 2s 6d f.o.b. and sales were reported at higher figures than this. Farmers were paid to-day £1 a ton on trucks.
