PROGRESS OF CHAMPIONSHIPS. The semi-final of the ladies’ junior golf championship was played between Miss N. Wilson and Mrs. Baxter at Inglewood on Saturday. Miss Wilson had a comfortable win by 5 up and 4 to play and now has to meet Miss E. McAllum in the final. A number of ladies have recently reduced their handicaps. Included are Miss Marshall, who has reduced to 3<l, and Miss Wilson, who has reduced to 21. In the rose bowl competition, a handicap, F. Partridge (22) defeated W. J. Smith (14) 2 up at the last hole; C. Belcher (22) defeated J. 0.. Morton (20), H. Winter (14) defeated C. Belcher 1 up, and F. Partridge defeated Martin 1 up.
