PERSONNEL OF THE NEW CABINET HOUSE ADJOURNS TILL NEXT WEEK IMPORTANT CHAPTER IN HISTORY (By Wire—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. A T a sitting of the House to-night which lasted less than 20 minutes a chapter in the political history of New Zealand was closed and what promises to be a most important new chapter was Commenced. Late in the afternoon the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, had tendered to the Governor-General the resignation of himself and the whole of the United Cabinet and had asked His Excellency for power to form a new Ministry. The necessary authority having been granted the members of the new Cabinet were sworn in. When the House met at 7.30 p.m. Mr. Forbes read a brief statement announcing the change in the administration. The galleries were crowded and there were murmurs of approval and dissent as the allocation of the various portfolios was declared.
