LINDRUM INVITED TO COMPETE. FOUR CHAMPIONSHIP CLAIMANTS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, Sept. 20. The champion billiard player, Walter Lindrum, received what lie describes as a huge offer to visit the United States to engage in a world’s international billiards championship. There is no recognised champion but the claimants to the title are Jack Schafer, Willie Horemans, Willie Hoppe and Walter Cockram.
